Week 8 | Milena Pogacheva | Sofia, Bulgaria

Here we are -- ready to share our pictures.  For those of you who don't know, you will notice that the overall I used is not the one that traveled to the other photographers.  Turns out sending used clothing and shoes is not allowed here (I currently live in Bulgaria and postal services here are a bit different than those in the US regulations-wise).  I was afraid that the package might have been confiscated or even lost.  Anyhow, Camille was nice enough to let me participate despite of this little obstacle -- I bought a pair of overalls, as similar as I could find, and jumped in for the challenge.  At first I didn't realize that a part of my time slot coincides with our family vacation in Italy.  I was planning to take the pictures before we go, but other things popped out and never got to doing it.  So I figured it was going to be even better to do that at the beach.  Thought about having the shoot in the ancient city of Alghero, Sardinia where we were, but there were too many people and the light wasn't too good during the day so I chose the beach.  I am so glad I am part of this little community here.  Thanks for having me!
