Week 5 | Megan Berendt | Oconomowoc, WI

Pictures of my little boy!!  Except he's not so little to me anymore!  Just over four years ago, when he was one month old, we moved out of the house he is standing in front of.  We wanted a bigger one with a bigger yard.  So we moved.  We got married in the backyard of our new house when he was five months old.  After the wedding we worked on that house.  We worked on that yard, (all five acres of it!).  And in July of 2017 we had our daughter and brought her home to that house.  Both of my babies took their first steps there.  Had their first Christmases there.  But my husband and I weren't happy.  The house was too much work.  The yard was too much work.  Our schedules were too demanding, we lived too far from family and we decided we wanted a change so we could spend more times with our kiddos.  So.  We're back where we started.  Back in the house we originally brought that baby boy back to.  Duplex actually.  With really close neighbors.  And no 'play' room.  But for now it will do and were happy!  And I get to spend more time with my boy..
